Hi! My name’s Biz, short for Elizabeth.

I’m a UX Manager at Shopify in Ottawa, Canada, where I spend my days leading our orders and fulfillment UX teams. We create products and tools that help over 1.7 million merchants grow their businesses.

Before joining Shopify, I worked for several Canadian government departments, like Service Canada, where I helped build a user-centered culture across the government and develop a usability strategy for Canada.ca.  

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, reading a nice book, drinking craft beer, and adventuring. My alter ego would be Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec.
